Welcome to the home page of the Division of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Communication Engineering at the University of Suwon! As a major engineering division in college of engineering with an enrollment of about 700 students pursuing degrees in electrical, electronic, and information communication engineering, our mission is:to educate electrical, electronic, and information communication engineers with a solid background of fundamentals; to produce, by participation in the process of understanding and experiment, an exciting future for the quality engineers; to serve the society through practical and theoretical application of the professional skills and academic knowledge. The division is well posised to achieve these academic goals with high quality students and outstanding faculty members. The students can choose from three major areas for their education: electrical engineering; electronic engineering; and information and communication engineering. Students have a broad range of mandatory and elective courses for their major areas. Some of the courses offered through the division are: electrical circuit, electromagetic engineering, digital logic circuit, computer architecture, electronic circuit, semiconductor engineering, signal theory, control engineering, information theory, commmunication engineering, electric power systems. As boundaries across the disciplines become obscure and many of our faculty members work across these major areas, the division provides opportunities for students to experience interdisciplinary education and to pursue multiple degrees in two major areas.
