The importance of the complete command of foreign languages is increasing everyday in this area of globalization and internalization. However, it is not easy to find a person with a full command of a foreign language. To meet this need of the age, the University of Suwon established the Language Institute in 1986 and has not spared any effort ever since to provide students with the intensive and continuous education of foreign languages.
 
 


Presently, the Institute is offering about many different courses; for English, it offers classes on English conversation, TOEIC(for those who prepare for their job), TOEFL(for those who prepare for studying abroad), and so on all over the year. ESL intensive courses are offered during the summer and winter vacations. Courses on other languages are also offered such as Chinese, Japanese, French, and Chinese Characters. Students can take whichever courses they want to choose according to their future goals.
